Key Responsibilities

As the PICU Nurse Manager, you will:

• Lead and mentor a team of pediatric ICU nurses and clinical staff
• Promote a collaborative, patient-centered care environment
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and nursing standards
• Drive quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
• Support staff education and professional development
• Oversee department operations including staffing and scheduling
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Texas
• BSN required
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience (ICU/PICU leadership preferred)
• BLS certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  
  Preferred:
• National specialty certification (or willingness to obtain within 2 years)
• Experience managing staff in pediatric critical care or acute care settings
