Cooper University Health Care, the clinical campus of Cooper Medical School of Rowan University, is the leading provider of health services to southern New Jersey. In the past decade, Cooper has greatly expanded its facilities and services in Camden and throughout South Jersey, and currently serves more than half a million patients a year. The health system includes Cooper University Hospital and a network of more than 100 outpatient locations throughout the region, including a surgical center in Voorhees and urgent care centers in Cherry Hill, Audubon and Sicklerville. More than 590 university physicians and 181 community physicians represent more than 75 specialties. Cooper University Health Care offers a network of comprehensive services that include prevention and wellness, primary and specialty physician services, hospital care, ambulatory diagnostic and treatment services, and home healthcare within South Jersey and the entire Delaware Valley. Cooper University Hospital serves as South Jersey’s major tertiary-care referral hospital for signature programs, including MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper, Cooper Heart Institute, Cooper Bone and Joint Institute, adult health institute, Cooper Neurosciences Institute, center for critical care, urban health institute, center for population health, center for urgent and emergent services, women’s and children’s institute, a clinical decision unit, the Children’s Regional Hospital at Cooper and the Dorrance building with mother-infant services, labor and delivery, the Level III NICU and a regional prenatal center.
