Prestige Care operates Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living, Independent Living and Memory Care communities. Although officially founded in 1985, Prestige’s history dates back to 1946 with Sarah Delamarter, a pioneer in Oregon’s long-term care industry. With care communities and centers located in California, Arizona, Alaska, Nevada, Oregon, Montana, Idaho and Washington State - the company continues to grow and nurture new approaches and techniques to senior health care. Company History
Prestige Care’s history of service dates to 1946, when Portland-area nurse Sarah Delamarter started caring for seniors in her home. She later purchased a large house in Wood Village, Ore., to operate as a senior-living facility. In 1985, her grandsons Harold and Rick Delamarter founded Prestige Care with their partner Greg Vislocky.
